Associate Opper Effectiveness Director

The RWAS organization was formed in January 2018 by combining the legacy RWI, GS and Analytics teams and this new portfolio of offerings will drive growth and innovation for our business. Key to this integration is an approach of collaboration, cross-functional working and connection to drive progress. The proposed role will act as a key point person to develop, implement and maintain key operational processes for business optimization. This includes acting as the overall project lead on a number of RWAS operational processes related to Culture, Communications and Leadership. This will involve managing large complex projects that will improve integration and cross-functional work to drive improvements in RWAS


  • Build a culture of connection and integration across our portfolio
  • Identify key business priorities related to Change Management, Culture, and People-related Operational processes.

Build an integrated plan focused on three areas:

  • Connection, Innovation and Recognition
  • Create and manage a Network of RWAS Champions
  • Create and manage a "High Potential" Network and determine and define key strategic priorities for this group
  • Launch a monthly Line Manager forum for all RWAS LMs - to bring messaging and comms led by the N-2/3/4 level
  • Foster the RWAS Culture:
  • Re-design and manage the Making it Real Awards focused on RWAS Cultural attributes
  • Manage the process for Employee Engagement surveys and implement action plans
  • Provide oversight for the RWAS Women's Inspired Network and foster connections, cadence and continuity between the disparate chapters
  • Create / launch RWAS Innovation campaign (comms, awards, networks)
  • Create / launch Recognition campaign (comms, awards, networks)

OBJECTIVE 2: Optimise systems and processes across RWAS for integrated working

  • Create an RWAS iQ site for a central point of information
  • Manage the build and maintenance of the Xchange Knowledge Management site as a central repository for RWAS

For each of these projects this role is responsible for:

  • Conducting an assessment of status quo and develop recommendations
  • Manage multiple business stakeholders across multiple functions and business structures to achieve project objectives. Proactively communicate and generate buy-in at differing levels within the Organization
  • Leverage optimal techniques such as Process Mapping, Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement / data analysis techniques necessary to achieve project goals
  • Serve as primary contact while leading assigned project problem solving and resolution efforts
