"• Strategic focus of the end-to-end budgeting and contracting process from RFP through the study lifecycle across the segment;
• Internal and external C&P point of contact for biotech and midsize segment;
• Represent GBO in customer meetings, as appropriate, with focus on bid defence meetings to explain RFP budgets and/or contracting process;
• Represent GBO on internal projects and meetings related to the segment;
• Provide BDs with correct contract templates;
• Establish and maintain  process alignment with customers from RFP through to final budget, contracting and contract reconciliation including customer factsheets;
• C&P point of escalation for account specific issues/challenges etc. within segment.
• Strategic support and quality oversight, review and input for key customer deliverables;
• Internal and external process and tools improvement and development;
• Work with internal Sales teams on pipeline information for accounts within segment and share with GBO line management for future resource needs;
• Work with Sales to ensure ATP delivery for As Contracted;
• Drive the execution strategy for MSAs;
• Represent GBO management on challenge and sign off calls for RFPs;
• Train internal teams on GBO processes;
• Share knowledge of segment, challenges of segment, position of particular customers within segment and influence proposals and contracts strategy accordingly;
• Segment planning representation and participation to guide GBO on future segment strategy to ensure current and future contracts & proposal needs are understood and met;
• Provide account metrics to the customer and internal stakeholders as required, using such data to drive account improvements and optimization where possible ;
• Quickly develop and maintain customer relationships based on trust, credibility, transparency and expertise;
• Perform other duties as required."
