Position Overview

Polaris Solutions, an IQVIA Company is searching for an energetic Account Manager to join our growing technology team. The Account Manager will be part of the team that is responsible for ensuring our clients are satisfied with our products and services. Managing the relationships with existing clients and become a trusted partner and subject matter expert in Polaris products and services. The Account Manager will be part of our Customer Success organization and closely interact with our support, product and implementation teams.

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Polaris’ offerings and the details of the implementation at their respective clients
  • Being involved in setting up/design new SOP's for the AM organization
  • Capture and implement SOP's, working closely with our global team and other departments of IQVIA (CCOE)
  • Supporting Senior AM's in client meetings and preparing materials for Quarterly reviews
  • Collect account information and keep CRM system up-to-date
  • Create Change Requests and Contracts in close collaboration with the Project Managers
  • Collect account information from several sources and process for further analysis
  • Provide input for account plans
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives
  • Understand client satisfaction and success
  • Organize contract renewals and follow up on client requests
  • Ensure account is meeting all defined metrics and objectives
  • Support the growth of the organization; assume additional office responsibilities (e.g. recruiting, training, attending conferences)

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Between 3 and 5 years in a software account management role and preferable experience in software delivery/implementation projects
  • Management consulting/systems integration experience, preferably with a Big 4 or similar consulting firm focusing on the Pharma industry, a plus
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required (Computing / Engineering / MIS / Information Science / Business Administration)
  • Successful track record in growing accounts and consistently maintaining positive client relationships
  • Willingness to have a different opinion, ability to articulate thoughts and concepts well
  • Ability and willingness to attain and improve skills related to the Polaris Core Competencies
  • Have willingness and preference to “roll up sleeves” and work alongside the team
  • Self-organized, structured, proactive and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel to client and vendor sites as needed
