Responsibilities

  • Main contact with the representatives in their projects; support and supervise the representatives from induction to separation.
  • Keep direct superior, Project Manager as well as supporting staff, informed of issues.
  • Responsible for internal and external reporting.
  • Execution of legally necessary controls (drivers licenses, sample stock etc,)
  • Control of expense reports
  • Reinforce the representatives’ motivation, coordinating these with Management and client.
  • Holds regular contact with the customer’s First Line Management and coordinates individual measures for the representatives.
  • Evaluates the representatives, if possible.
  • Conducts trainings, instructions and briefings concerning strategic and operative proceedings.
  • Informs Project Managers and Staff Management about important events and measures.
  • Communicates Culture & Values.
  • Initiates and executes extraordinary salary changes as well as disciplinary procedures, given the positive decision of the responsible Project Manager.
  • Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice.
  • Ensure the reporting of any identified Adverse Events in line with prevailing process and guidelines.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ relevant experience including at least one year’s line management experience of a pharmaceutical or healthcare field team; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Relevant knowledge and understanding of local employment law.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Good understanding of Company processes and the ability to identify process improvements.
  • Good understanding and ability to work with financial data.
  • People management, training, recruitment, appraisal, coaching, leadership, motivation, communication skills and techniques.
  • Fluency in relevant software systems and applications, such as MS Office
  • Excellent problem solving, judgment and decision making skills.
  • Strong administrative, organizational and planning skills.
  • Proven track record of delivery against targets.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • May require regular national travel.
