Job description

As a Project Support & Events Coordinator you hold a central position in the Business Analytics and Strategy (BAS) department of IQVIA Belgium. You will be sharing your time between the MTOUCH team (a division of BAS) and the BAS team.  Within MTOUCH, you are responsible for the coordination and execution of different types of events in the medical-pharmaceutical sector, both live and online. For BAS, you will be involved in several administrative and logistics tasks to support the smooth progress of the projects.

Our customers are pharmaceutical companies, scientific associations and interest groups active in the health care sector in the Benelux; our target group are mainly health care professionals. The Business Analytics and Strategy division is part of the international IQVIA group.

Task package

  • You support the MTOUCH Event Manager in the organization of webinars, e-learning, round table discussions and scientific symposia, in terms of planning, logistics, communication, recruitment.
  • You oversee the MTOUCH administration, such as preparation of activity report, satisfaction surveys, supplier quotations, maintenance of department repository, planning update, newsletters, etc.
  • You are coordinating and supporting in the communication with the suppliers and in communicating across channels on MTOUCH activities.
  • You are regularly present at the events that are organized by MTOUCH.
  • You are supporting the Business Analytics team with survey answers encoding, coordination of 3rd parties for translations and printing & handling of surveys, engagement with physicians that participated to our market research and follow up on their payments, maintenance of databases, etc.
  • You support the Business Analytics team in the organization of their internal and external events.
  • By maintaining a high level of quality and respecting deadlines, you focus on long-term customer relationships with us.

Your profile

  • You have +/- 2 years’ experience in event coordination or in an assistant role including operational and administrative tasks.
  • You have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • You are proactive, positive, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure.
  • Your administrative preparation and follow-up of events and admin tasks is outstanding, and you have a hands-on attitude.
  • You are energized by customer satisfaction; you are open-minded and creative.
  • You are a team player, and you are not afraid to take initiative.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
  • You have excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • You have a tech savviness. If you master Adobe Creative Suit solutions, this is an extra asset.
  • You have a driver's license.
