Role: Associate Director, Supplier (pharmacy companies) Services
Location: Athens

Work type: hybrid (2-3 days/week office-based)

We are looking for an Associate Director, Supplier Services Headto manage the relationship with key national data suppliers and physicians within Greece. The Associate Director leads a team of 5 people fostering a culture for passion, growth, innovation, and collaboration.

Successful individual will report to General Manager IQVIA Greece, be a member of the leadership team and play an instrumental role in helping drive healthcare forward to improve patients’ outcomes.


Role of Supplier Services Head

Business Focus

  • Develop strategy to expand the current business and identify new business opportunities with data suppliers among physical and electronic pharmacies, physicians, wholesalers, institutions incl. hospitals, diagnostic centers & other potential sources.
  • Works with business leaders internally and explores opportunities for new data, identifying type of data, potential suppliers, helping assess the business opportunity, finding partners and actively contributing to the partnering progress.
  • Engage with Trade Key Opinion Leaders to identify needs and create opportunities for Consulting, Analytics, and rest teams.
  • Understand market dynamics, regulatory changes and trends within the data supplier’s ecosystem, identifying opportunities and risks for our business.
  • Engage with technology partners to help develop required solutions for new data supplies, within GDPR framework.
  • Map and profile the data suppliers to ensure updated data bases and platforms for internal & client use.
  • Promote IQVIA offerings & services belonging to Supplier Services.
  • Manages the overall relationships to ensure a high level in supplier satisfaction by collaborating to understand and cover different stakeholders’ needs.
  • Leads negotiations with data suppliers and partners.
  • Manages team to boost efficiency and synergies, ensure healthy climate, collaboration, and innovative spirit.
  • Promote IQVIA brand name as a pivotal, trusted partner within the Healthcare ecosystem, providing top quality, data related services.
  • Ensure appropriate presence of Supplier Services department in relevant events.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure we have the right processes and systems for prompt, flawless collection of data and for applying quality control processes on incoming data.
  • Drive efficiencies via optimization of resource utilization, automations and processes and provide the right reporting on relevant KPIs.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and legal advisor to ensure GDPR compliance and data security.
  • Coordinates the involvement of IQVIA resources in use of IQVIA information services to anticipate and meet supplier needs and oversees implementation, coordination and follow through of all contracts and information services agreements.
  • Develops and execute account plans and monitor progress; Adjust plans according to significant changes in business conditions.
  • Responsible of the panel cost planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • MSc degree from business or life science
  • Strong customer account management and business development competences, proficient in driving negotiations with suppliers.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to engage and influence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, overall sound organizational skills.
  • Pharmaceutical marketplace & industry business knowledge.
  • Market research method/practice knowledge would be a plus.
  • Expertise and creativity to solve problems.
  • Able to lead teams in an effective way.
