Job Description

The Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent attention and accuracy with details, strong individual initiative, organizing skills and commitment to quality. They will also have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively response to client queries and resolve incidents related to data loads or system functionality.
  • Provide support to MI Portal clients by working on business as usual data load activities(daily, weekly, monthly) ah-hoc data load/extracts as per requirements, carried out data quality & data integrity check to meet the clients expectation.
  • Effectively working on incoming client support requests & internal system/data issues based on agreed SLA.
  • Investigate issues related to data mapping/data conversion.
  • Maintain and support MI Portal BI reports for various MI clients.
  • Design/Develop/implement/maintain the new and existing store procedures used in ETL process. Participate in implementation of process & framework components that would streamline and automate the manual day to day support activities.

Key requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of working experiences as database developer, database support engineer or production support engineers
  • Experiences of working in life sciences industry is an advantage
  • Technical proficiency in MSSQL database
  • In-depth T-SQL Skills & SSIS, SSRS, performance tuning of SQL, Store procedure & function
  • Understanding of data ware housing model (star / snow flake schema)
  • Ability to multitask and strong trouble shooting skills, reverse engineering skills to identify the root cause of issues
  • Excellent communication skills
