  • Carry out work relating to the HEOR business areas (longitudinal retrospective study using internal or external big data, longitudinal prospective observational study, cross-sectional survey of patients/healthcare provider/or payers, patient reported outcome report, etc)
  • Work with supervision, indepently and/or as part of a project team on defined tasks
  • Involve in business development/internal initiatives i.e. produce partial initial drafts of proposals based on client RFP and supporting information, participate in internal disseminations and make oral presentations to IQVIA colleagues
  • Project management/client liaison including client management tasks, attend client and other external meetings and presentations of own research/analysis
  • Develop, review, implement and execution of prospective or retrospective outcome research protocols, statistical analysis plans and reports
  • Carry out local data sourcing, search, collection and generation and produce support materials for completed economic models, develop analysis plan, input to the development/adaptation of complex health economic models
  • Draft, revise, submit and present abstracts, posters and manuscripts for publication/ conference proceedings based on outcome research or economic models. Assist in the submission process

Minimum Qualification

  • Master’s degree in health outcomes research (epidemiology, pharmacy, public health, statistics, or related clinical discipline)
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in outcomes research (e.g. claims data analysis, EMR analysis, patient survey data analysis, etc) including academic research experience
  • Understanding of Korea healthcare system including dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent analytical and project management skills including presentations, meeting and workshop facilitation, business and report writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high quality outcomes
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
  • A willingness and ability to travel and Right to work in the recruiting country

Preferred Qualification

  • Ph. D. in health outcomes research (epidemiology, pharmacy, public health, statistics, or related clinical discipline)
  • Experience in analyzing healthcare claims data, EMR, or other big data
  • Experience in publishing literature, clinical research design, epidemiology and statistics
  • Prior experience related to outcomes research in healthcare and life science industries
  • Knowledge of SAS including Proc SQL, Proc Sort, Data Step syntax
