The Group:

The Technology Solutions division of IQVIA develops, markets, and implements healthcare-focused enterprise software applications including Master Data Management, CRM, Multi-channel Marketing, Content Management, Social and Compliance solutions. We are seeking a professional to further expand on our global success by leading a team that will continue to push us to be a technology powerhouse in Healthcare

The Role:

As Lexi Integration Architect you play a pivotal role in the delivery of our Lexi IPaaS platform.

Lexi is one of the three key elements that IQVIA has identified as essential to exceptional enterprise-grade technology.

Lexi is an application program interface (API) layer that connects all applications and data using a common vocabulary.

The other two elements of exceptional enterprise-grade technology are Ada and Apollo. These three innovative components make IQVIA’s technology solutions acceleration points for life sciences companies.

In this role, you will work closely with the technical development team and the Business stakeholders, and be responsible for the technical execution of the roadmap in terms of covering the use cases, quality and deadlines.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Defines the application problem by conferring with clients and internal stakeholders; evaluating procedures and processes.
  • Develops the logical solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
  • Controls the logical solution by establishing specifications; coordinating development with the engineering team.
  • Develops data models to enhance our product integrations and Lexi concept.
  • Validates results by testing programs.
  • Provides reference documentation.
  • Participates in the governance process of data assets and interfaces
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Works with the architecture teams to establish enterprise patterns

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management or equivalent job-related experience
  • 3 years of experience using software engineering best practices in programming, testing, version control, agile development, data modeling, etc.
  • A strong passion for getting things done, solving real problems, and learning new things
  • Experience with cloud deployment and modern DevOps required
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with data-intensive applications
  • Experience with API based integration technologies
  • Exposure to major database technologies
  • Exposure to ETL technologies
  • Exposure to Integration Patterns
