The candidate would join a high profile and talented team, and act as offering manager for various IQVIA™ Market Access Analytic Solutions (MAAS). Develops and supports design of offerings as well as marketing strategy, pricing, and enablement of the sales team.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • With a strong understanding of market and customer needs, collaborate with a senior team of resources to optimize the Market Access Analytic Solutions portfolio, evaluating requirements for new offering development and investment, and enhancing current offerings.
  • Drive strategic commercial opportunity identification, and means to address, including responsibility in line with the business development plan, profits, and margin.
  • Monitor business development forecast, discrepancies, and propose actions to improve
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic to tactical activities including implementing and executing core capabilities
  • Specifying and quantifying market requirements for current and future products
  • Partner with MAAS leaders to determine how to best create repeatable offerings from innovative solutions.  Translate innovative solutions into repeatable offerings.  Drive the creation of client-facing sales and marketing materials with the support of Marketing and Sales resources.  Evaluate training and process needs for Go-To-Market resources to successfully sell and deliver repeatable offerings.
  • Leads the development of the portfolio of offerings within market access area.  Leads cross functional teams to ensure that the offerings meet customer needs, are economically and technically viable and are deliverable.  Develops and manages cross functional teams, costs and trade-offs to deliver the maximum value from the offering portfolio within agreed development timescales and constraints. 
  • Brings external thought leadership to bear in client environment.  Recognizes impact of developments in industry that may influence IQVIA products, services or trends.  Forecasts trends, identifies potential impacts and applies knowledge to offering development and business line strategy.
  • Create and maintain multi year product life cycle plans to drive increase visibility, value and utility of new and existing products.  Makes the business case quantifying revenue and costs associated with changes in product marketing strategies.  Manages product mix and engages both clients and internal teams to minimize risks associated with product transition and or cannibalization.  Recommends and negotiates budget for Go-To Marketing strategy for new or existing products, provides clarity around roles and proficiencies required and prepare the business case to secure resources.  Liaisons with clients, with or independent of sales, as necessary to support product.  Perceived as product expert interdepartmentally and ensure product education for relevant audiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years experience
  • Demonstrated success in marketing strategy, new offering introductions, and market expansion. Requires an in-depth knowledge of Healthcare, Life sciences, and/or Pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Requires on-site collaboration in Cambridge MA office.
