In this role you'll have an opportunity to take on design, development of our Angular7 based web stack and the associated platform and libraries supporting it with our Big Data Engineering team.

You'll work within a cross-functional team of Product Designers, Software Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Business Quality Analysts to specify, design, develop, and implement a scalable front-end architecture for a wide array of clients and needs. The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and with an eye for simple, innovative solutions is a must. This is a high impact role where you will oversee the defining, documenting and training on critical architecture components and related processes.  You will be responsible for leading the development of a modern architecture for our web-based applications, developing consistent standards for UI implementations across all our products and creating a componentization strategy to achieve consistent component reuse. You will work with various product teams to guide and help adopt new architectural standards and components.

The ideal candidate will have:

- 11+ years of professional web development experience in modern UI frameworks like Angular7, JavaScript, Typescript, ngRx 6/7, ES6/ES7, HTML5, Bootstrap4.

- Expertise using Angular 7, JavaScript frameworks, JS Libraries (jQuery, etc.), constructing reusable components and testing tools (Karma, Jasmine, Protractor)

- Ability to lead efforts to define future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards, guidelines, and industry best practices.

- Experience advising the Business and IT Organizations on the appropriate use of web application development technologies to support strategic business goals.

- Solid understanding of building full-stack web applications using Scala, Spark, Kafka related technologies such as Hadoop

- Experience creating responsive GUIS using material design, HTML5

- Hands on experience in GitHub, Jenkins, CICD Process

- Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills

- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance

- Work with business stake holders and understand business requirements to perform technical feasibility analysis and provide technical solutions.

- Where necessary, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on findings.

- Recommend and promote new technologies and best practices to enable us to better support our customers.

- Recommend tools and utilities for design, development, testing and management of web-based applications.

- Be very knowledgeable about various design patterns in enterprise architecture.

- Conduct peer-reviews, quality inspection on end to end software development life cycle.

- Ability to mentor and coach other developers to learn and grow Great problem solver

- Experience with RESTful web services.

- Coordinate and manage projects to meet/exceed client’s needs/expectations

- Proven experience and practical knowledge of Agile software development methods

- Estimate the level of effort required to accomplish tasks.

- Write and maintain complex application documentation.
