Role purpose

We are looking for a finance analyst to join our expanding company.  You will be part of a highly visible and interactive small team.  This business focused role will support the flow of financial information to ensure accurate and robust reporting within the UK&I business unit, providing insight on key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for continual process improvement.

Role responsibilities

  • Support the Operational Excellence program, which includes reporting on project profitability, offshoring & utilization, establishing regular and robust reporting cadence to key internal customers.
  • Support the reporting of UKI revenue & cost & expense annual Plan and strategic planning financials, including assisting Finance Director, UK&I with the preparation of the annual Plan
  • Support in preparation of operating review meetings, strategic planning review meetings and budget review meetings.
  • Support the integration of acquisitions onto the IQVIA financial systems 
  • Regular liaison with members of the UK&I Marketing Services leadership team to provide insight into monthly risk / opportunity analysis and feed into monthly forecasting process.
  • Monthly reviews of Professional Service & T&E costs across the UKI business
  • Assume responsibilities for any other related departmental ad-hoc requests and Business Unit finance projects.

Essential skills experience and education required

  • Post-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent),
  • Minimum upper second class honours degree,
  • Experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Flexible team member, able to multi-task and cope with pressure of deadlines
  • IT literate, advance excel skills

Desirable skills experience and knowledge

  • SAP and Hyperion experience preferred
