Conduct advanced analytics from various internal reporting systems as a means of providing decision support for the Global Supply Chain organization. Own the development and maintenance of the Global Supply Chain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard and associated standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and policies.  

Essential Functions

  • Primary intent of role is to support service, quality and cost improvement initiatives of Global Supply Chain leadership as well as Q-squared executive management.
  • Extract data from various Global Supply Chain operational and financial databases and create and manage KPI dashboard.
  • Extract data directly from third party vendors to validate, supplement and reconcile to internal reporting systems.
  • Work with functional stakeholders and key executives to identify reporting needs.
  • Benchmark, validate and track productivity opportunities in collaboration with senior leadership team within Global Supply Chain.
  • Prepare and present Global Supply Chain operational and financial metrics across various levels of the organization including executive management.
  • Create and maintain data linkages between Global Supply Chain and its internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to: Finance, Project Services, Business Development, IT, Pharma study sponsors, and third-party suppliers
  • Develop business cases to support key Global Supply Chain operational initiatives.
  • Represent Global Supply Chain in a Business Analyst function as directed.
  • Fully develop, update and own all Global Supply Chain SOP’s.
  • Extract and consolidate data from multiple systems and consolidate accordingly (Access, SQL, and Excel skills required).
  • Ability to develop tools for improved data capture to support operational metrics.
  • Perform project management and other duties as identified and assigned.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or IT preferred
  • Requires 2 - 3 years of prior data analytics experience, preferably within a Global Supply Chain environment. Extensive working knowledge of business intelligence software platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire, etc.) and database management platforms (Access, Excel, SQL, etc.). Biopharmaceutical experience a plus.
  • Requires intermediate level knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a Global Supply Chain environment, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of materials & inventory management, logistics, and procurementmethodologies, principles, theories, processes and practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, SAP or other major enterprise resource planning platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
