Job Profile Summary    

Using management discretion, direct, supervise and manage project(s) and/or multi-project programs, ensuring the quality of deliverables on time and within budget.   Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices.  

Responsibilities
     Essential Functions
•    Manage the scope of work, objectives, timelines, quality of deliverables, and all other project management activities for the project(s) and/or multi-project program(s).
•    Serve as primary project contact with internal and external customers to ensure appropriate communication channels are maintained and reporting schedules adhered to.
•    Finalize project budget and scope of work.
•    Develop project plans, for all phases of the project and associated deliverables.
•    Manage project budget(s) to meet financial and company goals (realization targets); proactively ensures adherence to change control processes.
•    Supervise maintenance of project management information and data tracking systems.
•    Direct project activities for Project Manager(s) and team members regarding their project-oriented tasks to ensure that project milestones are met.
•    Evaluate impact of risks, develops and implements quality and risk management plans for minimizing impact on project objectives and deliverables.
•    Continually review and ensure adequate resources are available to meet project deliverables and milestones.
•    Develop and implement continuous improvement processes for assigned projects.
•    Participate in RFP l and budget development and sales/proposal presentations, evaluate feasibility of potential programs and impact on company operations and goals; negotiate and make decisions on behalf of the organization.
•    Participate in sales/proposal presentations in face-to-face meetings with potential customers.
•    Provide technical expertise and project management experience to Project Manager(s) and training efforts.
•    Serve as a project management liaison with other groups within IQVIA.
•    May take project management lead role for specified customer(s), including acting as team member on operation and/or steering committees with strategic partners.
•    Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.  Approve actions on human resources matters.
  
Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
 
Knowledge
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches.
 
Education   
High School Diploma or equivalent  Required        
 
Additional Work Experience   
15 years related experience including 7 years project management experience required or
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience required
