  • Work closely with Development, Functional/Business and QA teams in all the phases of SDLC 
  • Review the requirements and provide the QA estimations and raise any concerns or issues as needed 
  • Involved right from the requirements grooming and will prepare the logical test scenarios & test cases as needed
  • Prepare test scenarios & test cases and requirements traceability matrix (RTM) to ensure the complete coverage
  • Perform test execution and share daily status reports/status calls 
  • All the issues that are identified are logged into JIRA 
  • Work with Functional team/Development team to update defects with required information, if requested and move to closure by validating once fixed
  • Raise any issues and concerns to QA Lead/Manager as soon as they are identified for a resolution
  • Work with the QA Lead for potential resolutions for open issues/concerns
  • Ensure all the test deliverables are met

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1 to 2 years+ of software testing experience in different domains
  • Working with off-shore development teams
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience Required

  • Analytic thinking and testing approach
  • A sharp eye for small details
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Authoring Test Case and Test Plan
  • Adhering QA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the project life cycle
  • Execute test suites and analyze test results
  • Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle fundamentals
  • Can prepare/execute complex and out-of-box scenarios
  • Define test details, execute using Manual testing and where applicable implement automation
  • Experience in cross browser testing
  • Identifying project risks and escalate to project team as needed
  • Experience working with Offshore teams (teams in different time zones) is preferred

Additional Experience Preferred

  • Knowledge and/or Experience with automation tools like Selenium is a plus
  • Experience in Pharma industry is an added advantage
