Collaboration for Oncology Data in Europe (CODE)


This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious initiative that will establish the first comprehensive long-term Oncology Data Network across Europe.

It is our belief that availability and transparency of treatment data lead to improved patient care. As such, in collaboration with leading pharmaceuticals and in consultation with healthcare professionals, governments and patient groups, IQVIA is leading the development of a pan-European information infrastructure to collate comprehensive, up-to-date and validated data on how anti-cancer medicines are used in clinical practice. Working with healthcare data providers across Europe, this initiative will enable the oncology community to keep pace with innovation and derive the greatest value from anti-cancer treatments.

Our initiative is an exciting start-up opportunity funded by IQVIA and its collaboration partners. The Role


Our initiative is supported by a small team of consultants that assure that our workstreams are optimally supported in tackling their growth related organizational tasks. We are now looking for a pragmatic, goal-oriented and experienced Project Consultant, who will join and coordinate this effort. The consultants will drive a wide range of change activities in the areas of market development, customer relationship and collaboration management, product design, internal and external communications, programme management, financial management, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a wide portfolio of task that are involved in building an international business.  It provides an exceptional opportunity to have visibility on all aspects of this major strategic initiative for IQVIA and operate as part of a unique multi-party collaborative structure.


Principal Accountabilities


Effectively deliver change management related activities for one or two of CODE’s central workstream. Ensure effective delivery, provide input into the intellectual agenda and ensure the quality of outputs.


The balance of tasks in the portfolio will focus in supporting 2-3 areas at any one time. The portfolio of work supporting our central workstreams and functional leads will include: 


Collaboration Management (management of our partner Pharmaceutical Companies):


  • Management of information process to and from country organisations
  • Meeting preparation and follow-up (design of documents, organizational meeting support, tacking & monitoring of actions)
  • Interface to our legal advisors (e.g. coordination of anti-trust competition law aspects)
  • Progress tracking and monitoring

External Engagement


  • Event management support
  • Design of communication and messaging materials
  • Governance of messaging framework and related materials
  • Progress tracking and monitoring

Network Management (Market Development)


  • Support network build process: i.e. engagement process, pipeline management, customer relationship management, action implementation and tracking
  • Development of engagement related documents
  • Progress tracking and monitoring

Central Programme Management Office


  • Budgeting and Financial Management
  • Programme Planning and Steering
  • Organisational analysis and design
  • Training and meeting facilitation
  • Operations processes

Experience, Skills and Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of professional experience, management consulting, change or programme management background
  • Experience of multi-national change initiatives (of advantage)
  • Organisational change methodical skills set (organizational analysis and design, financial modelling, programme planning and steering, secondary research)
  • Numerate with exceptional attention to detail
  • Expert level MS-Excel & MS-PowerPoint skills
  • Fluent in English with very well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with different stakeholder groups in a complex organisation
  • Structured approach to problem-solving
  • Enjoys the exciting and constantly evolving corporate start-up environment
  • Demonstrates the capability to juggle priorities in a deadline-driven environment
