Project Lead, MSL Team

We are currently creating a candidate pool for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Project Lead, based anywhere in the United States, to lead a critical new business venture.  The MSL Project Lead will oversee a specialty MSL team that will develop a broad and in-depth understanding of the future use of a pharmaceutical product in various therapeutic areas. 

 Specific accountabilities and responsibilities will include:

• Lead a national team of MSLs.
• Serve as a key information holder regarding the therapeutic marketplace
• Deliver on all contractual obligations as agreed to by the client and IQVIA

The successful candidate will be highly motivated with clinical knowledge in a various therapeutic area, have good analytical decision-making abilities, and exceptional business acumen.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Doctorate degree preferred, advanced degree required
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 2 years in leading a nationwide clinical team in the biopharma industry
  • Experience managing a Medical Affairs team required
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as technical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate directly with the customer to ensure that all customer goals and objectives are being met as planned
  • Strong business acumen and ability to clearly and concisely report detailed data to management, as well as the customer
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a MSL team and management towards exceeding objectives
