About Our Client and the Role

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a market-leading Medical Device company, and an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and dynamic person with technical sales experience.

In this newly-created role within a new division you will own end-to-end selling of appropriate products and focus on driving growth among targeted accounts. You will be interacting with surgeons and their surgical staff in the operating room, as well as hospital procurement teams. Additionally, you will also interact closely with our client’s existing Hospital Sales Teams and sales Manager.

Responsibilities

Reporting to our Client’s Sales Manager, key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Provide clinical support and product knowledge to nurses and surgeons in surgical operating rooms as required to drive adoption, use and purchase of our client’s products; ensuring our client’s products are being used safely and effectively
  • Deliver a leading service to customers including training, in-services, inventory management, product trials, and supporting hospital staff
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, surgeons, surgical nursing staff and hospital procurement staff
  • Report all sales and engagement activities in line with our Client’s expectations and reporting requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A degree or qualification in a Science, Business or Health-related field
  • Two years’ client-facing sales experience in technical product sales
  • Healthcare background or familiarity
  • Ability to confidently impart highly technical information, with outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • A passion and aptitude for understanding technical devices and technology
  • Proven successful sales track-record
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and generate demand within an assigned sales territory
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Full & clean driving license
  • Ability to travel as necessary is required

The role will initially be a contract role until end of December 2020, with very high potential to get extended or made permanent. A competitive salary and benefits package will be provided to the successful candidate.
