Job Description

This person will prospect for qualified business opportunities through email and telephone, utilzing internal business tools to target the most effective prospecting focus.  They will work with the IQVIA IST out of the RTP office to help identify potential opportunities for Drugdev.  The ISR is responsible for selling DrugDev Inc. products and services via telephone, email, primarily by responding to high volume inbound and outbound calls. The ISR is held accountable for prospecting for opportunities.  The ISR is also responsible for delivering a positive customer experience while maximizing revenue and margin generation. The ISR will partner closely with the DrugDev field team (Outside Sales Executive, SEs,, etc.) to drive the DrugDev sales strategy.  This role will sit in the RTP IQVIA office.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

1. Identifies revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
2. Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established trading partners.
3. Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
4. Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
5. Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.
6. Works closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development.
7. Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations.
8. Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
9. Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce industries.
10. Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
