Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead the IQVIA Third Party Access (TPA) global compliance program, designed to identify and report on contract compliance issues for vendors participating in the TPA program.
  • Develop, enhance and implement audit protocols, pre-audit surveys and questionnaires, compliance risk assessments, risk maps and audit plans.
  • Develop, enhance and implement procedures for routine auditing, surveying and monitoring of vendors in the TPA program.
  • Develop and implement periodic audit plans.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compilation, analysis, use and dissemination of data relating to vendor contract compliance practices.
  • Provide regular reports to management, including key performance indicators and effective use of dashboards.  Conduct follow-up as needed.
  • Provide feedback to improve contract forms, use definitions, vendor participation criteria, compliance criteria and other materials to protect IQVIA intellectual property and enhance data supplier contract and privacy compliance.
  • Work closely with lawyers in the Office of General Counsel to support enforcement processes and proceedings.
  • Collaborate with TPA program representatives, lawyers in the Office of General Counsel and commercial colleagues in offerings management to develop educational activities to improve contract understanding and compliance.
  • Support development of formal compliance guidance and training through various methods including formal presentations, on-line training, workshops, written materials and response to business owner requests.
  • Share insights and collaborate internally with legal and commercial colleagues to support development of effective compliance and training programs for in-bound TPA agreements.
  • Develop suggested compliance practices and share these with vendors as appropriate.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a relevant discipline managing, evaluating or overseeing others’ compliance with requirements, including corporate audit, corporate compliance, legal or investigations.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced education or an advanced degree a plus; degree in a technology discipline a plus.
  • Strong organization, analytic, project management, presentation, interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent technical skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as ability to proofread.
