IQVIA, in partnership with our client NS Pharma, Inc. is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as an Associate Director, Commercial Sales Training & Market Access

The Associate Director, Commercial Sales Training & Market Access, will be responsible for the development and delivery of foundational and advanced skills training for sales and market access in the rare disease space of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This individual will be responsible for development and execution of the full training process from workshop development to delivery. Additionally, the Associate Director, will lead POA and NSM Meeting design and execute as well as direct Vendor Management and Content Development.  This individual will work directly with the Head of Sales and collaborate with Senior Leadership across IQVIA and NS Pharma to:

  • Lead the development, approval, and delivery of disease state, treatment, product and market access curriculum and launch sales training programs
  • Act as the primary link between NS Pharma, IQVIA, as well as associated vendors to manage the development and delivery of sales and market access training in accordance with IQVIA and client policies/procedures and applicable regulations
  • Ensure all training and other commercial deliverables are delivered on-time and on-budget in support of client training initiatives
  • Lead the planning of National Sales and “Plan of Action” (POA) meetings
  • Develop and implement the onboarding process, including home study and live training
  • Manage health content on the Learning Management System
  • Coordinate efforts between NS Pharma’s Training, Medical, Sales, Market Access, and Marketing departments as needed to enhance the field representative’s ability to deliver appropriate messages and support
    • Experience in rare disease, smaller launches high priced a plus
    • Operational knowledge of medical products also a plus
  • Consult with NS Pharma Leadership to identify appropriate training needs/gaps that will support the achievement of assigned client goals
  • Develop strong and effective relationships within NS Pharma and across IQVIA to provide learning solutions that support performance
  • Keep current on trends and developments in the fields of training, performance improvement, and organizational learning, while maintaining/building contacts with training vendors/training professionals
  • Monitor course evaluations and compliance to gather metrics for continuous improvement and performance for assigned clients
  • Coordinate and execute all new hire training and onboarding


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
  • 10+ years in healthcare sales
  • 3+ years of prior Sales Training experience and/or Market Access experience required
  • Prior sales management experience required; preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Experience operating with senior/executive management teams; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with products covered under Medicare Part B and buy and bill products
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 30 - 50%.  Majority of time will be spent on-site at NS Pharma in Paramus, NJ.

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced degree; MBA or MS
  • Orphan and/or infusion products and working with Patient HUBs
  • Clinical background with patient experience
