Job Description

Purpose
Engage with principals in assigned account teams to address key business questions in each account, and also enhance their domain expertise with supporting evidence.  Work with the ACoE team to Rx, Sales, Patient, Reference, and other data to prepare sales, managed markets, patient, outcomes, treatment, and promotion insights.  Use these tailored insights to help account teams uncover new sales and service opportunities and to produce consistent overviews of team, product, and portfolio performance.  Balance insight development across both regular steering committee meetings with clients and “big” business development opportunities.


Responsibilities
•Engage with account teams to understand the key business questions they have, and what knowledge they feel they do not have for their accounts

•Connect each account's key business questions to what information is essential to answer the question, presenting findings as appropriate

•Work with analyst roles within the ACoE to pull the appropriate categories of data to generate the right information to answer each question, then integrate into consistent visualizations that describe “what” is happening for each analysis

•Review and check information to ensure the data delivers a “story” consistent with account needs

•Leverage the information to build precise, tailored insights relevant to each account

•Balance standardized or repeatable/scalable vs customized insight queries

•Expand analysis across each account's products and relevant therapy areas within their portfolio
•Liase with account teams to link insights captured from data to account business opportunities and relationships

•Engage with principals to modify business questions and construct insights


Qualifications

•Master's degree or MBA

•Minimum 8 years relevant experience

•Excellent consultative selling skills, including ability to quickly assess key customer issues and confidently answer with performance and product insight

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and visualization skills to “say it with charts”

•Solid understanding of commercialization, drug development, and knowledge of the Pharma Industry, Health Service, and related procedures

•Strategic ability to spot trends and implications from data and analyses, and translate into customer opportunities

•In-depth understanding of IQVIA functions, work products, and data sets

•Understand how to use databases, the background for IQVIA data assets, and how to apply that data to assess brand performance attributes

•Ability to understand and run statistical analyses, contribute to new analysis methodologies, and engage with Analytics/statistical modeling experts

•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

•Ability to lead, influence, motivate, and negotiate with others

•Ability to work creatively in a fast paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines

•Strong team player with ability to manage conflicting priorities

•Exhibit intellectual curiosity to keep digging until nuggets of insight are gleaned from information sources
