omnichannel Delivery Team Manager of Analysts / ConsUltants

Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA

Position Purpose:

  • Manage, coach, and develop delivery staff of 8+ Analysts, Consultants, and Senior Consultants.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of consulting projects of varying complexity and ensures on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
  • Contributes to new business development and client relationship management.

Principal Accountabilities:

People Management and Coaching Responsibilities

  • Manages direct staff of Analysts, Consultants, and Senior Consultants and has some oversight of client engagements.
  • Supports manager with the development of templates and delivery outputs for use on future engagements.
  • Participates in annual performance review processes.
  • Manages recruitment, learning, and development of junior staff.
  • Assists manager with month-end and quarter-end delivery and financial processes.
  • Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients. 
  • Manages project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client solutions.
  • Provides coaching and direction to Analysts, Consultants, and Senior Consultants across multiple projects at any given time.  

Delivery Responsibilities

  • Develops project plan with timelines and deliverables and leads project to successful completion, on-time and on-budget, from start to finish with little senior management guidance. 
  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems. Serves as key point of contact with client for their engagements.
  • Provides high level input to, and ensures the development of, client reports and presentations and delivers all or significant portions of findings to client across their engagements. 
  • Develops and/or elevates new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads. 
  • Manages and understands multiple external client and vendor data sets such as TV and digital partner data and platforms, CRM program data, and consumer socioeconomic demographic data, and incorporates into deliverables with IQVIA patient and prescriber-level data assets.
  • Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable have been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10+ years of related experience, including consulting and pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry experience. 
  • Possesses demonstrated expertise in one or more practice areas including secondary data analytics, patient and/or prescriber data analytics, digital and TV marketing, optimization, campaign measurement, and storyboarding.
  • Experienced people manager (3+ yrs) with track record for on-time team delivery and client-influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be proficient with MS-Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytic and visualization tools.

Organization Reporting and Scope:

  • Reports to: Delivery Principal

Additional Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of IQVIA data assets and the Consulting and Services core offerings with a strong focus on consumer patient level data.
  • Demonstrable experience in and commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industries.
  • Strong understanding of media consumption data such as digital (online, SEM, video, display, programmatic, endemic), print, radio, and television viewing behavior.
  • Knowledge of advertising campaign management and optimization.
  • Previous people management experience preferred.
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals and is effective working in a matrix environment. 
  • Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area.
