Responsible for support of event and events activities working in conjunction with event and account managers, and marketers.

  • Work with events managers and marketers to support the execution of IQVIA conferences and events and meetings globally.
  • Participate in event planning meeting to understand the objectives for the event
  • Projection of costs and provides logistic cost estimates for event
  • Proactively communicate & manage event deadlines, collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with event organizers and vendors
  • Register staff and attendees
  • Coordinate housing (as appropriate)
  • Provide support for self-managed events via toolkits, working directly with local offices
  • Project manage any necessary event support deliverables such as:
    • Producing and delivering posters, signage or graphics
    • Selecting and ordering premium items or materials, ensuring on time delivery
  • Additional support as requested for the successful execution of the event


  • BA or BS or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of trade events and event experience
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong personal work ethic.
  • Quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment and manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
  • Must be flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as editing, and proofreading with attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong marketing, project management experience, and vendor negotiation skills.
