Position Purpose:

IQVIA Regulatory Intelligence provide customers with regulatory intelligence from more than 110 regulatory organizations. IQVIA Regulatory Intelligence supports pharmaceutical and medical device companies by providing access to up to date and comprehensive original and translated regulatory documents, expert country summaries, tabulated comparative regulatory information covering operational details and timely alerts through state-of-the-art functionality.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to drive and execute system development projects to meet our operational and business objectives. You will play a KEY role in linking the business needs to the system requirements by applying your knowledge and expertise on regulatory data and systems. In this role you will be working with cross functional teams that deliver regulatory intelligence into software tools and service offerings across IQVIA. Along with other team members you will ensure the content management system is fit for delivering current and future Regulatory Intelligence Services. 

A sound technical knowledge and track record of driving automation and improvement projects will be essential particularly if they are in the area of data mining and NLP. The understanding of how regulatory intelligence is used or familiarity with regulatory systems and data structures will be a great bonus.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Brings the expertise and knowledge to help ensures the data structure meets the current and future business requirements
  • Works with internal stakeholders to identify content generation improvements and automation options/projects
  • Works closely with the Operational Lead and the Product Owner as well as senior leadership to gain project approvals
  • Provides clear documentation with business requirements to support development
  • Serves as the key point of contact between the operations team and the development team
  • Partners with Regulatory Intelligence providers, RIM and QMS stakeholders to ensure ability to deliver to the broader business objectives
  • Manages relationship with internal IT teams and third-party vendors
  • Helps to resource, plan and execute development projects

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Experience in data structure design, preferably from life science
  • Experience with content management systems or data processing systems
  • Experience in business analyst type roles
  • Experience in information governance and the information lifecycle
  • Experience implementing change management strategies
  • Understanding of principles of database management, enterprise architecture, and systems analysis is preferred.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry would be an advantage.
  • Ability to recognize new and existing opportunities to further the development of the company’s Regulatory Intelligence Services
  • Strong customer focus
  • Team player, including the ability to build strong relationships and in-work networks
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to senior management
  • Attention to detail
