Senior Consultant for its French Market Access department

Role Summary

Essentially, Market Access focuses on getting the right product to the right patient at the right time and is an essential part of product development and growth in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.  As this represents an area of growth for IQVIA we are expanding the Local Market Access team in Paris and are looking for a senior consultant to provide leading edge solutions, manage projects and assist with business development opportunities across our range of offerings.

Key Accountabilities:

  • A senior member of the team, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Take project management responsibility across a range of projects, working collaboratively with members of the Market Access team and other stakeholders, both internally and externally to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of projects.
  • Support our Analysts and Consultants, structuring project approaches, reacting to changing timelines and requirements, providing direct management, feedback and supporting growth and learning within client engagements and supporting career growth across and outside of projects
  • Seeking out and identifying new revenue opportunities at existing and prospective clients: our Senior Consultant will also contribute to business development activity and expand on opportunities with new and existing clients within the Market Access arena. Lead interactions with clients across a range of interesting, challenging and varied projects and assist  developing business opportunities.
  • Proactively strengthens subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
  • Design and structure deliverables, workshops and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.
  • Contribute to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA Local Market Access in the market place, e.g. through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc. 

Education, skills and experience required

  • Pharmacist or Physician with demonstrated related experience. Master in heath Economics could be appreciated
  • An understanding and experience of the local Market Access environment in France is essential
  • Previous consultancy experience is required & pharmaceutical industry &/or HAS/CEPS experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to work as part of a team, across a range of projects and/ or competing priorities, ensuring good time management and excellent communication skills
  • Strong interest in consulting, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to work on own initiative without supervision and to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within challenging timelines
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal & influencing skills
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Eligibility to work in France/EU without sponsorship
  • Strong interest in consulting, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry
