In order to realize our vision we are looking for a Sales Specialist, Technology Solutions to strengthen our team.

As a Sales Specialist, Technology Solutions, together with Key Account Managers and Engagement Managers, you will be involved to manage selected existing Clients and to position IQVIA as the premium provider of choice for cloud-based Orchestration Customer Engagement (CRM and Marketing Automation) and Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions, support in managing relationship with acquired clients.

Creativity, energy and the ability to work effectively within a growing team are critical.

Accountability

Primary focus of this role is to develop solid relationships with existing Clients and Prospects and position/ sell engagements for the IQVIA Technology suite at the major life science and pharma companies. This includes: 

• Build close client relationships from operational to senior mgmt. level at the dedicated accounts.

• Identify and qualify opportunities on assigned clients and/ or prospect

• Prepare client discussion papers and proposals

• Develop and negotiate contracts with all relevant stakeholders and close the deal

• Liaise with the global IQVIA network to drive large client engagements during pre-sales, sales and delivery phases

• Contribute to innovation for the Technology & Services community drawing from own sales and delivery work, and play an active role in knowledge sharing

Reporting line

Reports to the Senior Consultant, Technology Solutions, Italy

Required Education and Experience

• University degree preferably in IT, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics

• 3+ years of relevant commercial experience preferably in technology or management consulting firms • An understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and/or enterprise software sales cycle and enthusiasm for bringing innovation are key

• Expertise in BD

• Proficiency both in English and Italian

Additional Requirements

• Entrepreneurial attitude, driver, willingness to take risks with strong hunting skills

• Hands-on, with strong issue-based consulting and conceptual skills and an ambition for innovation

• Excellent listening and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across complex networks, internally and at the client, and to influence organizations

• A willingness and ability to travel
