Serve as a Global Head of Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Medical Writing within the Data Sciences, Safety and Regulatory (DSSR) business unit at IQVIA.  Direct all aspects of the Global Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Medical Writing (BMW) organization, including: developing and implementing strategic priorities; providing oversight to development strategies and operational plans to meet customer objectives for development programs; participating in sales and marketing of BMW services; and acting as executive relationship manager for key accounts.
Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership to the BMW function, ensuring that financial results, project milestones, and other key metrics are met and/or exceeded. Formulates effective global strategic goals and objectives and assure the implementation and operational integration of global goals and processes into the region.
Provide major inputs and direction to ensure process improvements and interoffice/interdepartmental task forces; oversee collection and reporting of BMW metrics, implementation of revised work practices, new guidelines, and new software tools as they become available.
Effectively allocate resources across global teams to achieve target utilization rates and project realization rates.
Take a leadership role in sales meetings as required; oversee proposal preparation; ensure that all proposals bid by the department have an adequate budget, and sufficiently detailed set of budget assumptions. Act as a ‘Customer Relationship manager’ for key accounts.
Manage and develop team of senior managers. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters.
Serve as a biostatistical and programming consultant for other members of the department and staff members from other BMW departments within the company. 
Maintain knowledge and awareness of developments in biostatistics, programming and clinical trial methodology, and regulatory requirements in the region that impact on design and analyses.
Ensure the high quality and timeliness of deliverables from the BMW department.  Oversee and ensures the high-quality level of the Biostatistics and programming expert review process.
Represent clients at meetings with regulatory agencies or other regulatory meetings; may participate as a member of a Data and Safety Monitoring Committee.
