The Event Planner role is a key member of the events team and provides support in the development and delivery of project activities, particularly regarding the organisation of meetings and events for internal and external customers. The main focus of the Meetings Coordinator role will be to organise and co-ordinate delegate management for events.  Ensure planning, administration, tracking, web registration plans are accurate and internal records are updated as well as supporting on site and being involved with the smooth running of events. Delegate management for Virtual Meetings will also be required.
This role would be particularly suitable for candidates with some meetings logistics/events experience, ideally in Pharma or healthcare communications, although applicants with events experience from other industries will also be considered.  You will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and the confidence and interpersonal skills to negotiate with vendors and speak to key stakeholders.
Additional Skills/requirements:
• Fluent written and spoken English essential
This is an exciting position that will require international travel to attend events.
