Qualified candidates should have strong MS Excel and Powerpoint experience, any experience with Essbase / Hyperion would be a plus. A strong analyst that can manipulate data, generate reports, and present metrics to a large group is ideal.


A strong Finance Analyst within IQVIA Biotech’s FP&A team.  This person will be directly responsible for reporting, analysis and financial support for our clinical operations functions.  In addition, this role will also work directly with US-based business unit/therapeutic area leaders, and finance leadership.


Create detailed and dynamic cost analyses for new business initiatives and present to Finance & Operations leadership.

Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts for billable operations functions.  Analyze and communicate significant changes from prior forecasts.  Identify direct margin risks and opportunities.

Prepare monthly Finance-Operations presentation and participate in meeting.

Be a point-of-contact for operations leaders, providing regular financial support. 

Monitor appropriate regional distribution of billable staff against clinical operational model and present insightful analysis on data to Finance and Operations leaders.

Assist with IQVIA Biotech regional budgeting, forecasting and/or analysis.

Prepare and report on key operations metrics for business optimization.  Identify anomalies and discuss with functional leadership.

Consolidate and analyze large quantities of data and provide concise meaningful financial summaries.  Communicate analysis to all Finance Senior Management for messaging to all levels of Sr. Management.

Identify and report on process improvements, efficiencies and areas to increase margins.


Advanced Excel skillset and highly skilled Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.

Experience in PeopleSoft or similar GL systems required.  Hyperion / Essbase experience strongly desired.

Strong numeracy, analytical and communications/presentation skills

Ability to communicate regularly (verbal and written) with all levels of management within IQVIA Biotech.

Ability to comfortably present financial and statistical information to a large audience.

Ability to convert large quantities of data into concise meaningful financial information in a short time with little supervision, making reasonable assumptions and managing tasks within required deadlines.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and thrive on continual change.

3-5 years of prior financial analysis experience, with at least 1 year in a Sr. Financial Analyst role.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
