IQVIA, in partnership with our client Optos, is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as an Account Manager.

This is an incredible opportunity to work in a culture that puts people first, because we know they are our real future. The Account Managers will support Optos as they enter a new market where they will be utilizing the latest technology to manufacture new products and software that support optomap as a standard of care. All with the goal of helping health care professionals around the world save sight and lives.

The Account Manager will be an integral part of this new team and will be responsible for achieving sales forecast within assigned territory.  He/she will do this by establishing mutually beneficial, business relationships with healthcare providers and any other key stakeholders, and effectively communicating a compelling value proposition for products and services. The Account Manager is also responsible for proactively identifying and coordinating sales strategies with appropriate teammates to maximize sales in assigned territory.


  • 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Minimum of 2 years B2B and/or pharmaceutical/ medical sales experience required
  • Territory relationships with Optometry, Ophthalmology or Primary Care a plus
  • Demonstrated and consistent success in prior roles i.e. sales rankings, awards, and achievements
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership skills – takes ownership of career
  • Embraces challenge, diversity, and change
  • Focuses on growing, leading, and continuous development
  • Superior verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven active listening and strong rapport-building skills
  • Residence within the current geography is required
