Global Product Specialist / Consultant - Digital Commercial Solutions
Job Overview
OneKey Marketing Services is entering into a new dimension to provide communication services to Life Science companies that request to enlarge their communication capacity by using more personal communication channels. Therefore, we must build the global programmatic offering, with a mix of acquisition, partnership and skills development.
Responsibilities
As a Product Specialist, you will oversee:
- Product promotion through a strategic roadmap 3 years including market research.
- Evangelization of programmatic advertising
- Competitive Intelligence: Landscape, competitors, new technology
- Sales Monitoring: ROI, Forecast
- Lead and coordinate all activities related to the promotion and raising awareness of the service.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
- Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes.
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
- Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
- Train members of local sales team, arranging external training where appropriate
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
- Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate.
- seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
- Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
- Track revenue and work collaboratively with the programmatic product lead.
Qualifications & Skills - Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Around 5 years of experience in managing and developing accounts across agencies, trading desks or brands directly.
- Strong understanding of the programmatic landscape
- Experience working in digital media, with hands-on experience and deep understanding of programmatic and media sales (DSP, SSP, publisher, Ad Network)
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
- Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
- Ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Project management and organisational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to think strategically.
- Ability to analyse sales figures and write reports.
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
