Job Description
IQVIA Patient Support Services is hiring a Principal / Associate Principal to join the PSS team!
Works directly with life sciences clients to provide value-added input, develop business opportunities that will lead to additional starbursts, and support delivery of projects built around strategic issues impacting patient access to care. Has responsibility for ensuring delivery of projects and programs resulting in high levels of client satisfaction. Works directly with IQVIA’s Patient Support Servicesteam across multiple clients. Individual contributor that meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets and develops solutions into repeatable offerings. Qualified candidates will have deep expertise inPatient Support Services along with history of quickly cultivating knowledge of all other practices.
Essential Functions
- The Principal is the Primary facilitator of client business development engagements with responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering projects and programs resulting in high levels of quality/added value.
- Associate Principal will manage solution architecting and is responsible for managing the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications including overall bid integrity. Ensuring clear communication throughout the RFP process and implementation phase within the team.
- Meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues focused on improving patient access to care.
- Seeks out and identifies new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients – ensures a continuous flow of business from client engagements.
- Takes lead role in proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to clients.
- Manages client interface and ensures project team achieves efficient and effective project delivery.
- Serves as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem-solving skills.
- Identifies issues of importance to the industry/clients and works with Center of Excellence Leaders and/or Geographic Leaders to develop tangible and commercial offerings.
- Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the IQVIA data assets and the IQVIA core offerings and draw correlations to drive Patient Support Services offerings.
- Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA in the marketplace, e.g., through thought leadership speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc.
- Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
- Proactively mentors, coaches, and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world class solutions for clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Master's Degree Preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience required for Principal level and 5-8 years’ experience required for the Associate Principal level with experience in the life science, pharmaceutical or consulting industry and a focus in Patient Support Services. Market Access knowledge is a plus.
- U.S. Home Based/Remote and willing totravel up to 10% for client meetings and conferences.
- Broad knowledge of the life sciences industry and specific understanding of Patient Support Services, including Access (e.g., hub), affordability (e.g., copay), adherence (e.g., clinical solutions), non-commercial dispensing pharmacy (e.g., PAP).
- In depth and long-standing relationships with senior levels at life sciences client companies.
- Possesses exemplary business development skills with ability to profitably price engagements.
- Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
- Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, techniques, and analytic mindset, related to functional area.
- Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace and professional/trade associations key people and companies.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning and change management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking and influencing skills along with a high level of energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
- Able to manage complex relationships and juggle multiple priorities.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $139,200.00 - $335,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
