We are hiring aKey Account Manager (Business Access Manager)to workdedicated to one of our leading biopharmaceutical clients, supporting the expansion of their biosimilar portfolio across Austria.
As a Key Account Manager, you will represent our client in the field, driving commercial success within your assigned region. You will engage with key hospital stakeholders to promote biosimilar products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support informed prescribing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, prescribers, hospital pharmacists, clinicians, procurement teams and healthcare decision-makers
- Identify target customers through maintaining and analyzing customer records. Produce an appropriate territory business plan
- Lead local market access initiatives and support internal teams with training and market insights
- Drive sales performance and contribute to market share growth in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Position our client as a trusted and knowledgeable partner in the biosimilars and biologics space.
- Educate target audiences on the value proposition of our biosimilar product portfolio.
- Identify access barriers and develop tailored solutions to gain market entry and drive adoption
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategy accordingly
Qualifications:
- 3 years plus proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, ideally with high-cost or specialty medicines in hospital settings.
- Experience in launches, independently
- Background in biosimilars or therapeutic areas such as Rare Diseases, Hematology, Nephrology, Immunology, Oncology, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, or Rheumatology.
- Degree in Life Sciences or a related field; additional qualifications in Business Administration or Health Economics are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in German is essential; English proficiency is required.
- Willingness travel regularly across Austria
- Valid driving license.

Monthly gross salary starting at €5,800an overpay is possible according to skills and working experience
