We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Indianapolis, IN.

Job Summary: The Associate Scientist will perform routine analysis and laboratory testing procedures to obtain data from pre-clinical and clinical specimens. This role involves timely documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines to ensure high-quality results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform and document analytical procedures in compliance with methods, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

  • Assess analytical progress to ensure data validity and escalate quality issues or unusual results to senior lab personnel.

  • Prepare buffers, solutions, and reagents for analysis as required.

  • Upload data analysis results to LIMS systems under the guidance of senior staff.

  • Conduct calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and assist in troubleshooting processes.

  • Train junior lab staff and support onboarding activities.

  • Contribute to the writing and revision of laboratory procedures and techniques.

  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and ensure compliance with safety and 6S requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences discipline required, or Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.

  • Proficiency in pipetting techniques and laboratory calculations.

  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for this role:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work (e.g., computer use, reading small print). Exposure to cold temperatures may be required depending on work tasks.

  • Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Ability to multitask effectively and establish strong working relationships with coworkers and stakeholders.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $52,500.00 - $87,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
