Job Description

IQVIA is looking to hire a Data Acquisition and Interchange Programmer for an FSP within the DSSM (Data Sciences, Safety and Medical) Programming Team. This team aims at delivering high quality on Data Transfer specifications based on protocol and other source documents. This role is very critical as it necessitates the gatekeeping of Blinded Clinical Data. Will be required to work on Snapshot, Data extractions and transfers. The role will also involve administrative responsibilities as part of access provisioning.

Job Overview
Provide technical assistance as part of a team to develop and maintain clinical systems that meet internal and external clients' needs. Assist with the development of third-party vendor data for local, and central labs. Provide leadership to the Clinical Data Programming department in technical expertise. Provide internal consulting services, including specifications, user needs analysis for complex project or client requirements.

Essential Functions
• Create diversified vendor specification for third party vendor data transfer.
• Plan and coordinate database design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of clinical systems.
• Program, test, and document databases for third party vendor data acquisition in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures.
• Program database manipulation and transfers of data for internal and external clients
• Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
• Meet objectives as assigned and interact with the project team to organize timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• May serve as Lead Programmer on the corporate team.
• May assist IT in developing and implementing new technologies.
• May assist IT in testing and evaluating new upgrades to technologies. Meet milestones as assigned, and interact with the project team to organize timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables. 
• Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with teams and external clients. 
• Interact with corporate team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients.
• May interact with corporate team and CDM team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• May serve as Lead Programmer on the corporate team.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
• Bachelor's Degree Computer/life science or related field Req
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in lieu of degree Req
• Working knowledge of a relational database, electronic data capture and/or other relevant data management technologies
• Good knowledge of SAS/SQL/Python tool
• Good conceptual, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $105,800.00 - $176,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
