Field Care Coach - Patient Support Team

Job Description
Role brief:
➢The candidate will be responsible to contact patients that are eligible for enrollment and provides necessary wellness coaching to reduce or eliminate high-risk behaviors;
➢Encourages adoption of habits that are conducive to a higher quality of life; ➢Helps IQVIA’s patients to coordinate medical care and understand any medical conditions they might have;
➢Provides primarily face-to-face coaching, counseling, consultation and referral services to manage various chronic health conditions, and lifestyle behavior change;
➢Provides feedback and is involved in problem solving issues related to improved navigation through the healthcare system; and coordinates services with health coach team.
➢The candidate will take management responsibility for timely follow-up with patients and for the flawless implementation of all IQVIA’s patient support program.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ providing primarily face-to-face coaching meetings for patients who suffers from critical disease.
➢ Patients’ meetings could be outside Cairo in different Egypt governorates. ➢ Contacts and performs initial meetings with patients who are eligible for health coaching programs during weekly field visits.
➢ Visiting physician clinics weekly to recruit new patients in targeted therapeutic areas. ➢ capable of instructing others to provide them with a healthier way of life. ➢ Provides necessary coaching to reduce or eliminate behaviors that are considered high-risk. ➢ Creates and distributes health education materials such as brochures to patients.
➢ Handling and educating patients on treatment related devices that facilitate treating process.
➢ Submitting all patients’ complaints weather adverse event or quality complaints accompanied by assigned products of the program. ➢ Develops care plans that are custom-tailored to individual patients.
➢ Timely and accurate response to patient needs and inquiries, ensuring assistance within the required approved script.
Candidates interested in joining IQVIA PSP team in Egypt must have:
➢ Knowledge of health-related diseases with medical background.
➢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
➢ Strong motivational, convincing power and problem-solving skills.
➢ Ability to counsel clients of all ages, cultures and educational level.
➢ Solid experience in variety of clinical techniques and medical field
➢ Immense ability to develop a health plan
➢ A well organized and pleasing personality with self-confidence.
➢ Knowledge of latest trends in health care
➢ Strong understanding of patient support programs in the life science industry.
➢ Good team-based interpersonal skills but also an ability to work independently.
➢ This individual must be highly motivated, energetic, and have the desire to immerse themselves in the patients’ culture of wellness and support this culture.
➢ Strong academic track record including minimum of a bachelor’s degree in medical field.
➢ Fluency in English/Arabic.
➢ Advanced MS Office skills (Excel)
