We are currently looking for an Health Economics & Outcome Research Consultant to join our Real World Solutions team based in Athens.

The candidate will join our Real-World Solutions team and will be involved in development and delivery of Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR) studies to help pharmaceutical companies communicate the value of their innovations to stakeholders by quantifying the economic and clinical outcomes of medical technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting systematic literature review to source the required inputs to health economics analyses
  • Adapting and developing health economics analyses (e.g., budget impact analyses, cost-effectiveness analyses, etc.)
  • Support HTA submissions and payer engagement strategies.
  • Lead autonomously the delivery of projects leveraging IQVIA proprietary as well as third-party data, with focus on Outcome Research & Real World Evidence (RWE) applications (e.g. Epidemiology, Healthcare Resource Utilization, Natural History of Disease analysis, Big Data analysis
  • Develop statistical analysis plans and conduct descriptive and inferential analyses to summarize patient demographics, treatment patterns, and clinical outcomes
  • Managing meetings with clients and developing and delivering presentations to Pharma clients
  • Writing reports, scientific posters and papers, both in English and in Greek
  • Conducting statistical analyses – leveraging internal and external data sources
  • Writing of proposals and participation in bid defense meetings   

Requirements

  • MSc degree in Economics, Health Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics/Econometrics or any other related field with a quantitative background with strong analytical skills. Fundamentals on Health Economics or Biostatistics are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2/3 years of experience. Experience in a Pharma Consulting Agency or Pharma Company will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: strong skills in working with Excel spreadsheets and creating presentations with Power Point
  • Analytical skills and knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Stata/R/Matlab)
  • Proficiency in English and Greek (both written and spoken)
  • Good time planning, time-management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-changing environment
  • Keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
