Job description

Business Development Lead for IQVIA’s Contract Sales and Medical Services (CSMS) for an assigned IQVIA strategic global account.

Leads, directs, and coordinates sales activities around IQVIA’s (CSMS) offerings to achieve financial, customer and strategic growth goals. 

Essential Functions

Develops long term business relationships with assigned HQ client commercial executives to promote, advance and sell IQVIA’s CSMS (Contract Sales and Medical Services) solutions.

Drives business performance and growth focused on total contract value, revenue, market share and profitability in accordance with financial targets developed for an assigned key client. 

Becomes a trusted advisor and strategic partner aligning IQVIA’s CSMS value to the client’s product and sales priorities, budgets, investments, and commercial demands.  

Advances industry best practices and innovations, aligned to client strategic priorities, leveraging IQVIA’s industry thought leadership, SME’s and domain experts.

Proactively collaborates with IQVIA’s Client Partner, global & US account/sales management, commercial services, and technology teams to create unique client engagements and advance a differentiated value proposition.

Develops winning strategies and proactively engages client to create more business opportunities

Leads the sales engagement in response to specific business opportunities, client driven RFPs, & enterprise deals.

Supports proposal development working closely with IQVIA’s COE to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to the client. 

Participates in all key account community calls and business reviews with the Client Partner (e.g., account plans, large deal & customer engagement reviews).

Plays an active role in being the voice of the customer within the IQVIA organization to influence business strategy, investments, and engagements.

Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Eight (8) years of experience required
