Analytics Consultant (Europe Wide)
Job description
IQVIA, the Human Data Science Company™, possesses the largest and most comprehensive set of healthcare data assets in the world. An incoming Consultant is expected to be able to provide high quality, on-time analysis using a range of IQVIA data assets. Assignments will range in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving, to working with large unstructured datasets. A Consultant joining will be able to work proactively on a number of parallel projects and initiatives, and will serve as project leader for small teams or work streams.
The team
The Global Supplier & Association Relations team is part of IQVIA Strategic Partners function, and works on prominent policy projects for governments, regulators, and strategic projects for top-tier pharmaceutical companies. The projects are global, but often have particular focus on the European markets, and are regularly cited in academic journals and publications.
The team is client-facing, and engages with stakeholders across the pharmaceutical industry, including manufacturers, pharmacies and wholesalers, and industry associations by providing analytical capabilities and industry expertise on European pharmaceutical policy and commercial issues.
These relationships are further strengthened by our work with country and European industry associations, policy makers, and academic institutions. The team has built up expertise in a number of areas including shortages, pharmaceutical pricing, orphan medicines, parallel trade, biosimilars, and policy and as a result we have become one of the leading authorities in these areas. The consulting arm of this team supports external clients, as well as leads on internal strategic initiatives for the IQVIA business.
Essential Functions
Experience working with large datasets
Identify issues with systems/processes and proposes solutions or improvements
Lead on quantitative and/or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of issues in client or IQVIA datasets
Develops, and may present, deliverables within known/identified frameworks and methodologies
Qualifications
Tableau, PowerBI, PowerQuery, and knowledge of IQVIA assets beneficial
Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare marketplace
Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
Effective time management skills, and strong communication skills
Experience working on projects related to the pharmaceutical supply chain is beneficial but not essential
Bachelor's Degree .
PhD or MBA preferred, but not essential
