Data Integration and Interoperability Specialist
Job description
Purpose of the Role:
The Data Integration and Interoperability Specialist will be responsible for the developing and maintaining data integration processes, data mapping, data transformation, data models, data warehouses, and data marts that enable the exchange of data between systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Data integration specialists are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions
Must have a strong understanding of data integration technologies, such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform)
Work with stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop data mapping and transformation rules, and design and implement data integration solutions
Must be able to analyze data sources, develop data models, create data mappings and monitor data flow between various databases
Must be able to troubleshoot data integration issues and develop solutions to improve data quality
Identify and profile existing data sources with respect to common data elements
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Minimum 5+ experience in related field
Bachelor of computer science filed and professional data integration qualification
