The Pricing & Sales Operations Analyst will build and review novel pricing analytics and models to drive transformational deals, improve the pricing process, and clearly articulate deal profitability/risk for decision makers. This role is also responsible for the support and maintenance of ongoing customer pricing models and rate cards.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate development, approval, implementation, and upkeep of Pricing for the U.S. Market across all offerings 
    • Involve commercial, product, marketing, finance, and other key subject matter experts to align on pricing strategy
    • Liaise with Global Teams to align pricing methodologies (i.e. calculators) and ensure U.S. is not an outlier
    • Ensure roles and rates by offering group are clear, align with Global initiative, and are accurately represented in the Pricing Tools.
  • Pricing Control & Oversight for Commercial Solutions Organization
    • Ensure clear tie back from list pricing calculation to discounted pricing
    • Ensure margin estimates are calculated using cost assumptions provided by the delivery/support team leads
    • Lead updating Annual List/Cost rate process
    • Enforce margin approval process, both using the Pricing Assistant (default) and any offline means where necessary, is followed and in line with CEO/CFO approved “clip levels”
  • Support Sales Team in standard pricing process
    • Provide pricing for various offerings using agreed upon calculators and pricing schematics.
    • Escalate non-standard pricing proposals as necessary
    • Pricing Assistant Subject Matter Expert
    • Assist commercial teams in completion of Pricing Assistant where necessary.
    • Work with Pricing Assistant administrators to ensure U.S. interests are addressed and any required enhancements pushed through.
    • Address questions on pricing from revenue recognition team where applicable.
    • Various ad-hoc projects and requests

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the healthcare, software, and consulting industries
  • Experience with/ability to learn multiple systems (Salesforce, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction at times
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business situations
  • Ability to build business relationships with all functions at most levels
