Responsibilities
• Identify and recommend conceptual, logical and physical architectures and corresponding Business Intelligence (BI) solution designs that address challenges facing our healthcare clients
• Identify areas of opportunity for technology evolution from industry advancements and trends; this includes performing BI tool and software assessments and producing recommendations to clients
• Engage in all phases of project life cycle, from pre-sales to project kick-off through to implementation and client/user acceptance testing
• Lead or contribute to requirement development and reviews, especially non-functional requirements such as performance, privacy and security, maintainability, etc.
• Deliver on strict deadlines and aggressive development schedules; report progress and quality of work to project team and management
• Liaise with IQVIA/client team members, end users, other systems departments and/or vendors as required; involve others in problem solving, decision making and creative thinking
• Work with lead Developers to guide load and performance testing and tuning efforts
• Participate in code reviews and code walk-through, to ensure overall technical integrity of application/solution

Qualifications
• 10+ years of BI Solutions Architect and hands on development experience in BI solutions design/development and related with data warehousing implementations and dimensional modelling
• 5+ years experience in the health care industry working with or for healthcare payers or providers
• Ability to design and articulate complex technical concepts into executable development work packages Self-starter who is able to take ownership and thrive in an independent environment
• Presentation skills to diverse audiences Solid understanding of the data warehousing end-to-end development life cycle Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) programming skills and solid understanding of relational databases and data architecture
• Expert data modeler who can define transformed schemas and cubes for analytics use
• Extensive Experience with Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience working with database technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Cosmos, Snowflake, etc
