The Global Supplier & Association Relations team is part of IQVIA Strategic Partners function, and works on prominent policy projects for governments, regulators, and strategic projects for top-tier pharmaceutical companies. The projects are global, but often have particular focus on the European markets, and are regularly cited in academic journals and publications.

The team is client-facing, and engages with stakeholders across the pharmaceutical industry, including manufacturers, pharmacies and wholesalers, and industry associations by providing analytical capabilities and industry expertise on European pharmaceutical policy and commercial issues. 

Essential Functions

• Assists with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals and client solutions.

• Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.

• Assists in the design/structure and completion of presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.

• Develops, and may present, complete client deliverables within known/identified frameworks and methodologies

• Delivery of consulting engagements, and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.

• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals

• Engagement based responsibilities are assigned and managed by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers, Principals, or VPs. 

Qualifications

• Management consulting experience or strategy consulting experience 

• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area

• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline

• Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors

• Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare marketplace, professional/trade associations, key people and companies is beneficial 

• Experience working on projects related to the pharmaceutical supply chain is beneficial but not essential

• PhD, Master’s or MBA beneficial

• Bachelor's Degree.
