Job description

Business Intelligence Analyst (pharma)


Provide support and lead key business thinking forums such as MPR, Performance review, budget and forecasts reviews

Coordinate queries of external market data such as IQVIA, Close Up and others.

Support external market research

Support Business Intelligence in Sales Resource Strategy and Sizing projects (SRS)

Support product managers in identifying opportunities to effectively manage products life cycle. Identify requirement for market research initiatives to better understand patients and customers and assist in the definition of segments.

Provide markets, Product Managers and Senior Management with information to improve their decision-making process, providing further visibility to business and product KPIs – scorecards and dashboards.  Preparation of Market Research reports and analysis for strategic planning and on-going business evaluation.

Analysis of market data to provide actionable interpretation to the marketing team. Provide support in the analysis of areas of opportunity and new business possibilities.

Ad hoc projects to improve marketing & sales practices, such as portfolio optimization, channel management

Develop models to monitor pricing strategies

Business Development:

Provide marketing research and business intelligence to Regional Business Development in order to analyze new business opportunities (IQVIA, Close-up, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Logistics, Market).

Identification of areas of grow, implementation, opportunity size-up and develop recommendations.

Competitive intelligence gathering, new launches, price changes and discounts discovered by field work and liaison with the sales teams.

Review of relevant market and classification of Markets

Analysis of prescribers - Matrix (MS% x Potential): Medical conquer, defend, maintain, etc

Help build REP medical listings containing the doctor potential

Ensure Segmentation and Targeting is implemented as planned

Analysis of Cause-Effect to find the reasons for sales performance outside the goal.

•             Ensure optimal understanding and use of IQVIA / Close Up of the DSM and sales force

•             Segmentation of pharmacies / chains to be visited. Business Analysis DDD / PharmaTrack
