Training and Solutions Architect
IQVIA is seeking Training Architects to join our team. We design and deliver immersive clinical training and engagement tools and experiences.
Who We Are
The Site Training Solutions Team at IQVIA creates experiences that are effective and unexpected. We incorporate the core principles of adult learning and behavioral science. We use creativity to inspire and engage site staff and study teams working on clinical trials.
Our purpose is centered around a desire to improve healthcare and deepen our understanding of human behavior. We are motivated by a mission to ensure our friends and families can take a walk in the woods, get on a plane and go somewhere new, listen to music, snuggle a baby, try a new restaurant, and live life to the fullest.
Our team is a tightknit, collaborative, intellectually curious group of people with a unique blend of backgrounds and experience. We are comfortable pushing each other to improve our approach and to find new and different solutions. We are in search of new team members to help craft expert training and engagement strategies for our clients.
About the Training Architect
Working alongside our Medical and Behavioral Strategists, Project Managers, Medical Writers, Creative Designers, and Editors; our Training Architects build strategies that result in the execution of effective and immersive experiences for contracted clinical training and engagement projects.
We’ll look to this role for their medical education training and engagement expertise. We’ll also lean on their excellent relationship management skills to get key stakeholders on board with big ideas. They’ll lead the ‘needs assessment’ process, the creation of a corresponding strategy, and oversee the delivery of that strategy in partnership with a project management and delivery team. Training Architects partner with Medical and Behavioral Strategists who have deep clinical and behavioral science knowledge and help us ensure our solutions are clinically and behaviorally informed.
The Training Architects also help champion solutions from concept to execution; interface directly with internal study teams and client teams; create a bridge between the needs of the study and our training and engagement solutions. Additionally, they help assess our experiences post-study and look to continually refine strategies for deeper efficacy and engagement on future projects.
This position is home-based with frequent virtual meetings and collaboration with a globally-distributed team of IQVIA colleagues and clients. The busiest meeting hours tend to be 8am – 12pm EST.
Who You Are

You have created strategies to design and deliver complex concepts and bring ideas and patient stories to life. An advanced degree in a social science field such as health communications, psychology, behavioral science, or related is considered a plus.
You empathize with individuals, including a diverse global audience of physicians and care teams, who are passionate about exploring new treatments for patients and improving the health of their communities.
You may not know all the answers but you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by independently researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions.
Making a positive impact on human health takes insight, curiosity, and intellectual courage. It takes brave minds, pushing the boundaries to transform healthcare. In your role, you will have the opportunity to play an important part in helping our clients drive healthcare forward and, ultimately, improve outcomes for patients.
