Integrated Solutions Principal/Sr Principal – Emerging Biopharma

IQVIA has a wealth of solutions to support Emerging Biopharma (EBP) customers seeking to commercialize their assets and bring new therapies to the patients who need them.  IQVIA brings therapies to patients more quickly by providing solutions that span technology, information, services, analytics, and outsourced capabilities. 

The Integrated Solutions Principal/Sr Principal - Emerging Biopharma will be a key role within the EBP Go-to-Market team responsible for supporting the selection and scoping of IQVIA solutions to achieve a specific client need. 

The Integrated Solutions Principal/Sr Principal - Emerging Biopharma will work closely with and across Leadership and EBP teams including the broader Integrated Solutions team, VPs and Directors owning different product lines and sales channels to:

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive view of the IQVIA portfolio of commercial offerings relevant to EBP customers, supported by Sales specialists and Offering owners
  • Understand the common implementation patterns of key products which meet typical EBP client needs
  • Lead complex proposals, RFPs, and bid defense processes through i) Developing a detailed understanding of the client needs, in collaboration with Account Executives and Asset Partners, ii) Leveraging frameworks to select the optimal solution or combination of solutions to deliver on the client needs and iii) defining IQVIA’s right to win, value proposition and level of differentiation
  • Problem solve with clients and stakeholders about any challenges with the current solutions requested or being implemented, including potential simplification
  • Provide feedback and input to sales engineering and technical architecture teams on optimizations
  • Identify required points of connectivity between IQVIA offerings needed to address complex client needs
  • Work with Program Managers to create and revise delivery playbooks for integrated offerings
  • Keep up-to-date with technology changes and identify opportunities for implementation in future systems
  • Ensures high quality of all customer-facing documentation (e.g. RFP responses, decks, templates) and key messaging

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in business or life sciences (or equivalent experience) 
  • 10 years in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred with minimum of 4 years of solutions development related experience (or equivalent) also preferred
  • Knowledge of the steps and processes required to successfully launch biotechnology products
  • Ability to speak in detail with EBP clients about commercial solutions, specifically in the life sciences industry segment, in a meaningful manner with depth of content knowledge
  • Consultative mindset with enthusiasm for delivering first-in-class solutions to clients; demonstrated strategic thinking, planning and change management skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, and develop custom solutions, providing comprehensive and authoritative knowledge in commercial services solution
  • Strongly prefer prior experience with IQVIA and its commercial offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to express ideas in a clear and concise manner; tailor message to target audiences
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact  
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word 
  • Experience in influencing cross- functional teams in the definition of optimal client solutions
  • Backgrounds in consulting, product development, analytics, and strategy highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning, and change management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Values people’s opinions and encourages knowledge sharing.

Work location is flexible and may be remote or based in a US IQVIA office location.
