Job description
We are seeking a Senior Scientist Reagents to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Durham NC.

As a Senior Scientist Reagents, you will be a technical leader, ensuring the precision and efficiency of our laboratory operations, particularly focusing on critical reagents for cell-based assays.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing analytical procedures and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Conducting data analysis to monitor and maintain quality standards.
- Leading quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support sustainable and scalable assay operations.
- Providing advanced technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Managing documentation for laboratory methods and project validations.
- Training and mentoring laboratory staff in areas of expertise.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data and documentation.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology.
- More than 5 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
- Over 4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
- Proficient in laboratory calculations and familiar with various quality control metrics.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Effective relationship-building skills with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.
- Cell Based Assays, Ligand Binding, HAI, ELISA

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $70,700.00 - $117,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
