We are seeking a Senior Product Support Tech Advisor to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Austin TX.

The Senior Product Support Tech Advisor will be responsible for providing level 3 support for internal and external end users for PC, server, and application issues. They will also interact with software vendors, infrastructure services, and/or Application Development to restore service and/or correct core problems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing level 3 support for internal and external end users.
  • Interacting with software vendors to restore service or correct core problems.
  • Manage end user communication for planned and unplanned IT events.
  • Managing the implementation of internal, external, and off-the-shelf business applications.
  • Coordinating change management related to the deployment & release of business applications.
  • Assisting employees in navigating the incident request system.
  • Create scorecards and metrics for services and applications at the frequency requested by global, local business leadership and Product Owners. 
  • Manage the creation of installation qualification plans and pass these to the deployment team for execution.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience working with external customers to gather technical requirements.
  • Experience in a laboratory or other regulated environment is preferred but not required. Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

  • Solid technical background & experience in product/application support.
  • Possesses fine-tuned analytical skills and/or programming experience.
  • Relational database experience
  • Strong PC-based troubleshooting skills
  • Possesses solid written and verbal skills.
  • IIS, Oracle, SQL, Windows Server

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
