Job Overview
Process transactions related to the accounting systems and controls. Provide cost center management with monthly cost analysis. Assist in the preparation of cost center forecasts and budgets.

Essential Functions

  • Financial Planning & Analysis for Functional Areas of US & CA Regional Business Unit
    • Budgeting, forecasting, month-end close responsibilities
      • Includes monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and participation in monthly close/forecast calls
    • Interaction with relevant business personnel providing updates and guidance related to status of their business areas
    • Provide business leads with budget, close, and forecast information as needed
    • Gather budget, actual, and forecast inputs from business leads and load into financial systems
    • Work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure alignment on FTE and compensation for areas supported
  • Support for periodic business reviews
    • Coordinate updating and distribution of relevant financial templates for Business Line Reviews and Operating Reviews
    • Provide template information for other business reviews as needed
  • Be familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policies.
  • Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.
  • Various ad-hoc projects and requests
  • Provide support to Finance Directors in US & CA Regional Business Unit as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Knowledge of financial systems & databases.   SAP, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, Blackline, and Essbase a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger accounting.
  • Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical accounting skills.
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $84,200.00 - $140,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
